DVS plans road ahead for the Middle East markets

Dynamic Vertical Solutions, a market leader in India providing end-to-end solutions to the hospitality and retail industry, announced its expansion plans with its entry in the Gulf region, by setting up an office in Dubai. DVS plans to invest over $2 million in the first year and will ramp up operations in due course

According to the Global Emerging Markets Survey of 300 retailers worldwide, the UAE ranks number eight among the Top 15 most international retail markets. Dubai, as a favorite tourist destination has seen a greater influx of tourists.

The hospitality industry has much to offer and DVS saw this opportunity as a stepping stone for venturing into international markets. For the region, DVS will offer its complete suite of solutions to both, the retail and hospitality industry. Beginning to address the demand of internationally proven technological solutions, DVS is already pursuing potential customers in these sectors.

Commenting on the expansion, Rakhee Nagpal, Managing Director and Founder, DVS, said “The retail and hospitality industries in the Middle East region are poised for rapid growth and naturally possess huge potential for adoption of new technologies and solution.

This has translated into a demand for international strengths of technology and experience, which DVS brings to the table. For DVS, the areas of investment in Dubai fall under, acquiring product knowledge, understanding the requirements of Dubai's retail & hospitality industry, recruitment of partners and education to the vast market.”

Commenting on the partnership provided to DVS in its international venture, Mr. Tamer Elhamy, Business Solutions Manager, Microsoft Gulf said, “We are proud of adding DVS to our Gulf channel since that would help us offer better solutions and services for our partners and customers. The experience of DVS on the Dynamics platform, and in the retail and hospitality industries are very important for our growth plans.

I believe in the GCC market, DVS will also achieve a high growth due to their industry knowledge and certified add-on solutions. Microsoft Dynamics provide retail and distribution organizations the required solutions to increase customer satisfaction, reduce cost, and increase profitability by providing sophisticated, yet easy to deploy and-learn solutions.

According to Rakhee, “We are all very excited to materialize our vision for DVS. The team at DVS expects to take the company to greater heights by strengthening regional presence with opening of new offices and also by enhancing the partner and re-seller network across the country for enhanced market presence and customer outreach.”

Having partnered clients in multiple industries that include large, mid-sized and small enterprises, DVS is poised for further growth. A new arena of investment for the company is Research and Development and training of manpower to address the industry issues of thegrowing sectors like retail & hospitality.

DVS has partnered some leading names like Lilliput, Aditya Birla Group (More), Disney Artist, Seasons Furnishings etc. In 2007, DVS also penetrated into new verticals like real estate, health care and entertainment. In 2008, the company aims to consolidate its position in emerging verticals with grave focus on increasing depth in functionality.
