Wipro Technologies, Microsoft Dynamics AX Deal

Wipro Technologies the global IT services business of Wipro Limited and Microsoft announced the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX at the Microsoft Business Solutions division.

This project involved a transformational global Implementation serving 242 countries through five locations across the world, leading to standardization and harmonization of business processes across the organization. The Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP offers solutions in Financial Management, Supply Chain Management and Customer Relationship Management.

With the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX, the processes of managing revenue deferrals, royalty payouts, and credit & collections have been simplified and consolidated across the various Microsoft regional operating centers. This has also ensured standardized processes and controls to help enforce compliance, including regional regulatory invoicing mandates.

The implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX has meant that key finance and credit & collections data is now available real-time and in a single source, thus creating a more dynamic environment for the Finance, Invoicing, and Credit & Collections teams, to interact with both their internal customers and partners.

Speaking on the occasion Ms. Sangita Singh, Senior Vice President – Enterprise Application Services at Wipro Technologies said, “The success of this transformational project is a testimony of Wipro's deep understanding of Microsoft's business and our strengths on the Microsoft suite of business solutions; we will continue to invest in building these capabilities for the future.”
