New Color Manager to enhance the design process

OptiTex, the leader in CAD for the fashion industries, has added Color Manager, a dynamic new tool, to its already feature-laden 3D Runway Designer software. Color Manager ensures optimal communication between the designer and the manufacturer, faithfully promoting the production of beautiful designs. Designers now have a much higher degree of color control over their collections.
“We have always maintained a commitment to provide designers with the latest features to enhance the design process,” states Ran Machtinger, OptiTex's President and CEO. “Now, our new Color Manager will appear anytime a user clicks on a color control, providing an extended set of tools that promote both creativity and collaboration.”
OptiTex's Color Manager provides significant advantages over the old Windows color unit. Color Manager facilitates designers' ability to select a color scheme for both individual garments and full collections and to provide the scheme to everyone involved in the design process.
Color Manager, as with all OptiTex features and products, was crafted for a user-friendly experience. Toward this end, the Color Manager is divided into three main sections. The first is Color Pickers and Color Spaces, which supports four-color spaces: RGB, HSV (hue, saturation, value/brightness), CMYK, and HEX (hexadecimal).
The second is Harmonious Color Schemes for work in monochromatic colors. Lastly, the Color Banks section allows designers to create edit and store color schemes in color banks, facilitating collaboration among users and more efficient communication with other graphic software.
Designers can now choose and change colors in real time and view the results immediately. Previously, designers could neither see the colors and how they matched nor convey them to others accurately. Ultimately, Color Manager will revolutionize the way large manufacturers set their specs for production.
