OptiTex plays expanded role on Bravo's Gunn's guide to style

Tim Gunn, a long-time OptiTex fan, regularly uses its dynamic, user-friendly software on the Bravo series Tim Gunn's Guide to Style.
“We're very excited that our software continues to play such a large part on Tim Gunn's show,” states Yoram Burg, OptiTex's USA President. “Tim has been using our software since he was the Chairman of the Department of Fashion at Parsons School of Design, so last season he regularly used OptiTex software to demonstrate his fashion concepts. This season, all of the 'style-challenged' women he'll be counseling will have a totally customized virtual mannequin to assist in their makeovers.”

Gunn and his new “fashion accomplice,” Gretta Monahan, strive to help participants make themselves over and achieve a signature look. OptiTex mannequins will be leveraged as a tool to achieve this, with the mannequins personalized with each contestant's face and exact body measurements.
“OptiTex mannequins have been increasingly refined to the point where they even realistically reflect skin and hair tone. Tim Gunn will be able to accurately depict how various garments actually look on participants based on how different styles drape on them and which colors are the most flattering. Our software will show what works – and what doesn't – before they try on the first garment,” concludes Burg.
