Tecnica Ski Boots & Blizzard Skis recently launched online training with retail training leader 3point5.com, enabling shop employees to instantly improve salesfloor conversations while earning discounts on products they sell.

3point5.com is an online campus that provides engaging, interactive training to manufacturers in Snowsports, Action Sports, Outdoor, Hunt/Fish and Bike industries. Retail employees train online for free 24/7, while shop managers let 3point5.com handle employee purchases online. Training is updated seasonally, capturing the latest technological breakthroughs and product lines.

“The best thing about 3point5.com is that it allows us to deliver a consistent message to all shop employees around the country – it ensures that they have the correct knowledge to sell Blizzard Skis,” said Blizzard Marketing Director Megan Burch.

“It's the little details that can make the sale of a ski boot, and 3point5.com delivers a training site that allows us to get the details across in an interactive, fun environment, while arming the retail sales floor employee with the knowledge they need to inform their customers,” said Tecnica Marketing Director Leslie Baker-Brown.

In addition to the new training sites – Tecnica and Blizzard also placed all their pro sales online with 3point5.com. The result: An efficient, cutting-edge, customizable order entry and pro purchase system that enables paperless processing and reporting.

“A growing number of clients in many markets are choosing the combination of retail training and pro purchase programs offered by 3point5.com,” according to CEO Duncan Robins.

“Our retail training connects salespeople to manufacturers, while our pro sites make it far easier for brands to connect with professionals using their equipment – whether they're ski patrollers or pro athletes,” Robins said. “Together, the deliver full control of discount purchases across a wide range of consumers.”

Tecnica USA and Blizzard Sport USA are the distributors of Tecnica Ski Boots, Tecnica Winter Footwear and Blizzard Skis in the United States.
