Logility Inc announced that Augusta Sportswear, a team apparel manufacturer, has selected Logility Voyager Solutions to improve forecast accuracy, increase visibility into customer demand and manage inventory more effectively.

Augusta Sportswear has been a leading manufacturer in the team apparel industry for more that 30 years. The company's product line includes baseball and softball wear, basketball wear, soccer wear, track and field suits, football wear, sport shirts, spirit wear, athletic tops, athletic bottoms, athletic fleece, outerwear and warmups, denim shirts, and headwear, as well as bags, totes, and aprons. Augusta Sportswear has thousands of SKUs and sells its product line through specialty distribution channels including team uniform suppliers, custom decorators, and promotional product distributors.

"Augusta Sportswear serves a broad base of customers and it is important to continually provide them with the highest level of customer service possible," said David Frank, executive vice president sales and marketing, Augusta Sportswear. "We selected Logility Voyager Solutions to enable increased visibility into customer demand and to help us manage inventory more effectively across our global supply chain."

Logility has a proven history helping manufacturers in the apparel industry gain more visibility into customer demand to achieve measurable business improvements across the entire supply chain.
