RFID expo to be hosted in June

A major RFID expo has been planned by the Chinese RFID industry called the “China International RFID Technologies and Applications Show” in June. The show is expected to bring together more than 100 worldwide exhibitors, spread out over more than 5,000 sq.mts of space in the Shenzen Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The expo will be organised by RFID World China along with GS1 Hong Kong, GD-HK RFID Alliance and EPCglobal Hong Kong. The event also has the active support of the Chinese government in hosting the event.
The show which will be held from June 24-26, 2009, is expected to showcase China's prowess in RFID technology along with other global companies. With the promotion of China's 'Golden Card Projects', the government has attached a greater importance to the emerging RFID industry and its development in China.
The expo is expected to cover a wider range of RFID solutions, including readers, testing equipment suppliers and RFID chips designing companies.
