Halo Metrics to showcase 3Alarm technology at Montreal Fashion Week

Halo Metrics is proud to be The Exclusive Apparel Security Provider for the 2009 edition of Montreal Fashion Week. During the event, Halo will be showcasing 3Alarm technology used by fashion retailers and designers such as Hugo Boss, The Banana Republic, & Old Navy. The event takes place in Montreal Canada from March 2nd to the 5th.

Halo's partnership with Montreal Fashion Week (MFW) is an industry first. Even at a glamorous and prestigious event such as MFW where designers shine as stars, the reality of business and the current economic conditions must be recognized.

During a recession, theft typically increases and Apparel and other retailers can be hit the hardest. Some reports indicate up to a 30% increase in shoplifting during an economic slowdown. Halo Metrics helps retailers protect their goods while still allowing customers to openly interact with merchandise on display.

Halo Metrics will be showcasing security tags at the event that incorporates innovative 3Alarm technology. Merchandise protected by 3Alarm tags will alarm in a shoplifter's hand even after they have left the retail store with the stolen goods.

As The Exclusive Apparel Security Provider, Halo Metrics will be protecting designer clothing in The Showroom at Montreal Fashion Week.

"We are very excited to be a part of such an important event in the Canadian fashion industry" said Ravinder Sangha, Marketing Manager at Halo Metrics.

Halo Metrics Inc. has been a Canadian based provider of security and merchandising solutions to the Retail market for over 20 years. Halo Metrics Inc. is the Canadian partner of Alpha Security Products, manufacturers of 3Alarm technology.
