Predictix launches retail's first SaaS suite

Predictix announced the official launch of its consumer-centric merchandising solution suite, bringing disruptive innovation to the world of traditional merchandising software. Predictix delivers enterprise-class applications and superior performance without the drawbacks of competing solutions. The Predictix suite is delivered in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) subscription model that is up and running quickly and requires no up-front license payments, software installations, hardware purchases, or long-term commitments.

Predictix designed and continually enhances its products to help retailers and brands make better business decisions, from choosing the right merchandise assortment for each store to strategically pricing, promoting, and replenishing products. Breaking with the traditional model of enterprise software, Predictix's SaaS model shifts risks from the client to the software vendor, with no large up-front license payments or long-term contracts.

“Our clients must earn their customers' business every day, which is why we set up Predictix the same way,” said Molham Aref, CEO, Predictix. “They know they're getting our best effort 100 percent of the time, because if we don't deliver value or constantly improve our solutions, they can simply walk away.”

“Predictix is a real game changer for the retail software industry, giving merchandisers the advanced tools they need, combined with the unique flexibility, speed to value, and no-risk proposition of its SaaS model,” said John Buchanan, Chairman of the Board, Predictix and former CEO and Chairman, Retek (now Oracle Retail). “This technology and business model would be disruptive in any market – in the toughest market in memory, however, Predictix is turning the retail software industry on its ear.”

While the old-model merchandising software companies are built on technology that is 10 to 20 years old, Predictix solutions were built from the ground-up by some of the retail industry's leading technologists and domain experts. They understand that, for merchandising tools to provide real value, they must combine comprehensive functionality with outstanding ease-of-use. Predictix has already garnered multiple client successes in the United States and Europe, including apparel retailers, a global apparel brand, a leading grocer, and a global consumer electronics retailer.

The Predictix Consumer-centric Merchandising suite includes the following:
Planning + Allocation. Predictix Planning + Allocation consists of highly interactive web-based modules that include all of the features that planners need on a daily basis, and add powerful features such as dynamic hierarchies, dimensions and clustering, and built-in flexible reporting and analysis. More comprehensive and yet more easily accessible than any solution on the market, Predictix Planning + Allocation includes modules for strategic planning, merchandise financial planning, item planning, space management, assortment optimization, and more.
