Guest speakers Raeleen Kaesehagen and Don Greig will present “The Next Generation of Retail Jewelry Software and Business Management” at the JCK Las Vegas jewelry fair on Monday 1 June 2009.

The talk will address the challenges, changes and opportunities in retail technology and business management.

It will focus on what the next generation of software entails, how a retailer can move from their manual or current system to the latest software, and how this can be achieved in quick, simple steps that involve no downtime and very little expense.

“There is great opportunity for jewelry retailers when it comes to technology. Often this opportunity is missed when it is presented in such a way that it is too complex, too hard, or too expensive. With tools such as e-learning, online and remote support and subscription software, jewelry retailers are implementing the latest technology with staff fully trained, data immaculately converted and systems in full swing giving the retailer great returns from day one.”

“This talk sheds some light on the opportunities available, what other jewelers are achieving in this space and the steps involved in implementing the next generation of technology” said Raeleen Kaesehagen, CEO of Octahedron Pty Ltd.

This presentation will also address the problems facing today's jeweler including high supplier debt, low profits and lack of cash flow.

“We will discuss solutions to cash flow issues and how simple disciplines done daily can reduce supplier debt, increase cash flow and raise profitability” said Don Greig CEO of Focus Business Management Institute

The presentation is on Monday, June 1, at JCK Las Vegas Jewelry Show – Venetian Hotel, San Polo Ballroom (Level 3) at 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
