OAT Foundation Suite achieves SAP Certification

Checkpoint Systems, Inc. announced that through the OAT Foundation Suite, integrated with SAP solutions, customers can now easily integrate their real-time RFID data with SAP enterprise business processes.

The OAT Foundation Suite is developed and marketed by OATSystems, a division of Checkpoint Systems, Inc. The new solution leverages RFID technology to provide customers with real-time visibility of their assets and merchandise. This information is integrated into enterprise systems to enhance business processes and drive operational efficiency in ways never before possible.

OAT Foundation Suite version 6.3 has achieved SAP-certified integration with SAP applications. In addition, OATSystems has joined the SAP PartnerEdge program as an SAP software solution partner. Through the program, partners work closely with SAP to develop and certify the technical integration of their solutions with SAP software. Integrated partner applications extend, complement and add value to SAP solutions, thereby helping mutual customers more successfully meet business needs and drive strong results.

The solution will enrich several processes of the SAP ERP application, including supply chain, logistics, manufacturing and maintenance, with up-to-the minute detail on product movement to reduce operational errors and excess inventory. Customers in multiple industries will be able to take advantage of RFID technology across their SAP applications, including OAT industry applications for reusable container tracking, tool tracking, serialization, work-in-process, shipping and receiving and item-level inventory management.

This OAT Foundation Suite provides industrial manufacturers with real-time visibility into their supply chain, manufacturing, and finished goods operations. Retailers gain enhanced insight into inventory across the supply chain, reducing out-of-stocks, theft, and enhancing the customer experience.

By joining the SAP PartnerEdge program and achieving certification, OATSystems becomes a part of the extended SAP ecosystem, which offers a comprehensive and consistent industry approach to help customers accelerate innovation, improve ROI, and grow beyond enterprise boundaries.

The SAP Integration and Certification Center has certified that OAT Foundation Suite 6.3 properly integrates with the SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure offering via the SAP interface scenario SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure – Device Controller 1.0 (AII-DC-RFID).
