Shopatron, the leading provider of eCommerce solutions for consumer goods manufacturers, maintains forward momentum, despite economic headwinds, by delivering exceptional value for customers.

New Ship to Store order capabilities enhance Shopatron's Coex Freedom order management system and build on their nearly two years of experience with In-Store Pickup programs. With Ship to Store, a consumer places an online order and picks their items up at the local retail location of their choice. Ship to Store complements Local Search First and Shopper's Choice, two other In-Store Pickup order flows. Each tailors the consumer experience to product requirements and local store inventory scenarios.

“More delivery options provide flexibility to consumers. A great big shift is taking place in online commerce, and companies must adapt to changing shopper behavior,” said Ed Stevens, Founder and CEO of Shopatron. “Meeting shopping fulfillment needs with Shopatron's hosted In-Store Pickup solutions is easier, cheaper, and faster than using traditional complex order management solutions.”

To save merchants time, Shopatron has also launched a powerful new Merchant Support Center. The Support Center provides easy 24/7 access to loads of information, helping merchants sell more product with less effort. A handy knowledge base is filled with FAQs. Detailed documentation is available for download. Skill builders contain online videos, webinars, and training tips. Integrated issue tracking manages merchant requests for features, updates, and help.

“As Shopatron grows, we are committed to helping our clients work faster and smarter. Self-service is often preferred to full-service,” said Mark Grondin, Vice President of Client Services for Shopatron. “I would much rather pay for my gas at the pump than go inside and pay, for example. There are a lot more tools to come in this area for us.”

While more than 70 leading consumer brands run their complete websites on the Shopatron platform, their newest brand, Sanük sandals, stretched into new creative territory without stretching its budget. A full website redesign, built by Shopatron, launched on April 23rd, and featured flash video, light boxes, product rankings, breadcrumb trails, and eCommerce, integrating retailers as order fulfillment partners.

“Sanuk is all about the smile. Working with Shopatron, we have created a valuable partnership that allows us to simultaneously build our brand and online community while servicing both our customers and our retail partners,” explains John Gothard, Vice President of Sales at Sanuk. “With Shopatron's unique system, our retailers become order fulfiller partners; we drive sales to our retailers every single day and that's got us smiling!”

“Unbeatable value means bringing new and improved technology to support our customers and their brands,” said Ed Stevens, Founder and CEO of Shopatron. “The economics of eCommerce are changing. The future we see involves more features at lower costs, simplified, self-service technologies, and websites built for less.”
