Stahl deploys Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server

Tableau Software announced that Stahl Holdings BV has adopted Tableau to rapidly build powerful financial analytics and business dashboards. Stahl's executive team and its international subsidiaries are interacting with the real-time business dashboards via web browsers.

Stahl is a worldwide provider of high quality coatings for leather, substrates, textiles and related products that operates eight manufacturing sites and 26 strategically located laboratory facilities, and employs more than 1,100 people in more than 28 countries.

"As a worldwide company with a large footprint, we needed to share current metrics, KPI's (key performance indicators) and financial information with our executive team and subsidiaries in ways that are easy for our business analysts to produce and easy for executives to understand," said Christ Damon, Group Finance Director. "Tableau is a powerful, yet easy to use tool that reveals insights on data which were not possible before. Our business analysts spend more time on analysis in completely different ways without the need to spend time collecting and managing data in different views."

Stahl has deployed both Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. Award-winning Tableau Desktop data visualization software connects directly to a wide assortment of data sources allowing people to understand complex relationships through engaging and easy-to-understand visualizations. Award-winning Tableau Server extends the functionality of Desktop to the web, enabling entire organizations to share, discover and interact with their data, business dashboards and reports via a web browser. Released last week, Tableau 5.0 (http://www.tableausoftware.com/newfeatures) included major advances in business dashboards and enterprise-wide scalability.
