iCongo Inc, a leading provider of e-commerce and cross-channel systems, announced that it has established a sales presence in the United Kingdom through a new reseller relationship with Strategic Logic, a retail-focused systems integrator based in Great Britain. The partnership will give retailers in the U.K. and throughout Europe a strong new resource for a wide range of comprehensive, cutting-edge B2B and B2C e-business solutions.

To kick off its new U.K./European presence, iCongo is exhibiting at eTail Europe in London, June 9 and 10 at the Guoman Tower Hotel. Steve Kramer, president of iCongo, is participating in a panel seminar on cross-channel strategies as part of the event; the seminar takes place on Tuesday, June 9 at 14:15.

“iCongo is renowned throughout North America for powering world-class e-commerce solutions. We believe iCongo's exceptional client list will help us establish relationships with equally prominent B2B and B2C companies in the U.K. and throughout the EMEA region,” said David Hawkings, President of Strategic Logic. “We look forward to working closely with iCongo to provide robust and innovative solutions for these companies.”

iCongo is known for its lineup of e-commerce and e-business solutions that allow companies of all kinds to do business via the Internet and on a cross-platform basis through their physical locations. iCongo has already established select customer relationships in U.K.; for example ALDO, the 1,400-store Montreal-based premium shoe retailer, added ALDO UK to its e-commerce platform powered by iCongo three years ago.

“After an exhaustive search we selected Strategic Logic to be our partner in the U.K. primarily because David Hawkings is a seasoned retail professional with over 20 years of retail experience,” said Liberal Tavares, iCongo Vice President of Worldwide Sales. “Under his leadership, the Strategic Logic team will be instrumental in iCongo's launch and success in the U.K. market, which will lead into further expansion into EMEA markets.”

“Strategic Logic's heritage in the retail industry positions it well for the work we expect to do together,” said iCongo's Kramer. “Given the strong business ties between Canada and the U.K., it makes great sense for iCongo to use Great Britain, and Strategic Logic, as the launching points for our aggressive expansion into EMEA markets.”

Kramer's eTail Europe panel discussion is entitled “Keeping Your Cross-Channel Customers Content By Offering Sales Channel Freedom.” The talk, which also features senior online marketing executives from Schuh, Argos, SkinStore Europe and IKEA, will examine how to establish an integrated cross-channel culture and implement multi-channel and interactive elements into physical store environments.
