TEXbase launches insight, increases ROI

TEXbase bolsters its stronghold as the global leader in material data management software for apparel and textiles with the release of Insight - a customizable dashboard that graphically displays key performance indicators and instantly increases Return on Intelligence (ROI).

Insight provides a visual analysis of critical material and supply chain data from development and sourcing through color tracking - all the way to bulk production, quality assurance and product compliance.

Insight uses real-time data to clearly illustrate the status of time sensitive processes while monitoring the performance and efficiency of suppliers (vendor scorecards) and staff (load balancing/performance reviews). This new TEXbase module, which is immediately available to all existing brand and retail customers, provides a clear and complete view of the data that drives fact-based decision making and exception management.

Insight is fully customizable allowing each user to design their own solution showing the data that is most meaningful to them. A multiple tabbed interface, easy drag and drop configuration and a collection of 'widgets' provide live graphs, charts and RSS data feeds along with short-cuts to any specific TEXbase functionality. Widgets can be added or deleted, filtered and customized to configure a personalized solution.

Insight reports on key performance indicators across all TEXbase products: Material, Lab and Color. Insight further illustrates the collaboration activity occurring within TEXbaseConnect - the middleware that facilitates data transfer among supply chain partners. A variety of pie charts and graphs track past-due dates, status and turn-times for material developments, specifications and lab tests. In addition, brands are able to monitor the new materials that are exposed to them through shared fabric libraries and with one click are automatically taken to their vendor's library to download the new offerings.
