Enumerating various benefits that these solutions' purchase can bring in, Mr Sodhi described “As companies expand business in today's globalized world, they may have customers not necessarily in same geographic locations, and can also have suppliers or supply-chain outsourced from distributors over different locations. Hence, communication becomes an important means. Moreover, all these solutions are on hosted model or say the SAS model as industry calls it, which means there is no affront cost or huge capital required to adopt these solutions, and this way the company can save the cash, especially important in present crisis time, for other purposes or investing in business. Beside that, because these solutions are based on 'pay-as-you-go' model, as the business closes or hopefully not, the company can adjust to the kind of output it is going to have on these IT solutions, thus, making these solutions very affordable. A customized approach in other words!”
He, also addressing our queries on user-friendliness of these solutions, elucidated that as these solutions are based on office interface, any person using PC and familiar with an office interface, can uptake it very quickly for they are not specialized softwares needing specialized training.
“These solutions already include a basic level of introduction within softwares, and are brought to the market by Microsoft's local partners, who can be contacted for any further assistance or training. In fact that is one of the reasons why Microsoft has gone for partnerships and not offering solutions directly because partners who are present in that geography can be readily available for any post sale support or training to users,” he added smilingly as the end note.
