Urban & TradeStone to present Supply Chain Breakout Session at Big Show

TradeStone Software, delivering Merchandise Lifecycle Management solutions that unify the design, sourcing, ordering and delivery of private label and branded goods, announced Urban Outfitters CIO Calvin Hollinger will co-present with TradeStone's CEO Sue Welch at the National Retail Federation's Big Show 2010, January 11-12, in New York City. The presentation, which takes place on Tuesday, January 12 from 1:45 pm – 2:45 pm ET in Room Hall E 1E 11, will provide participants with insight into ways supporting technology can facilitate in-season changes to products and assortments and reduce markdowns.

Urban Outfitters, a leading apparel and accessories retailer, prides itself on lifestyle merchandising that builds a strong emotional bond with the customer by offering fashion right products on a timely basis. Together with solutions partner TradeStone, the retailer will discuss how they are adopting a Merchandise Lifecycle Management approach to provide a 'design to delivery' view of their supply chain, facilitating improved exceptions management and effective supply chain execution.

As Co-Chair of the ARTS PLM for Retail Standards Committee, TradeStone CTO Kamal Anand will also be participating in a 'Meet the Experts' panel discussion on Tuesday, January 12 at 10:30 a.m at the ARTS Standards Pavilion at NRF Booth #2037. TradeStone led the initiative to form the PLM for Retail Standards Committee, partnering with ARTS, leading retailers and other technology vendors to develop product standards for private label and branded goods.
