TradeStone Software, delivering Merchandise Lifecycle Management solutions that unify the design, sourcing, ordering and delivery of private label and branded goods, announced Urban Outfitters CIO Calvin Hollinger will co-present with TradeStone's CEO Sue Welch at the National Retail Federation's Big Show 2010, January 11-12, in New York City. The presentation, which takes place on Tuesday, January 12 from 1:45 pm – 2:45 pm ET in Room Hall E 1E 11, will provide participants with insight into ways supporting technology can facilitate in-season changes to products and assortments and reduce markdowns.

Urban Outfitters, a leading apparel and accessories retailer, prides itself on lifestyle merchandising that builds a strong emotional bond with the customer by offering fashion right products on a timely basis. Together with solutions partner TradeStone, the retailer will discuss how they are adopting a Merchandise Lifecycle Management approach to provide a 'design to delivery' view of their supply chain, facilitating improved exceptions management and effective supply chain execution.

Attendees of the presentation will learn more about:

• The problems and opportunities in retail for Merchandise Lifecycle Management / PLM
• The latest retail trends in global sourcing and what's in store for 2010
• How delaying merchandising decisions to the last possible minute can help get the right product in the right place at the right time
• Why adopting a holistic approach to design, sourcing, production, order and delivery of merchandise can increase speed to market and improve supply chain visibility

As Co-Chair of the ARTS PLM for Retail Standards Committee, TradeStone CTO Kamal Anand will also be participating in a 'Meet the Experts' panel discussion on Tuesday, January 12 at 10:30 a.m at the ARTS Standards Pavilion at NRF Booth #2037. TradeStone led the initiative to form the PLM for Retail Standards Committee, partnering with ARTS, leading retailers and other technology vendors to develop product standards for private label and branded goods.
