Ulla Popken to launch new site on MarketLive platform

MarketLive, Inc a leading eCommerce software and service provider for midsized specialty retailers, announced that Ulla Popken, a worldwide multichannel retailer of quality women's plus-sized clothing headquartered in Glen Arm, Maryland, has selected MarketLive as its eCommerce platform vendor. Together, Ulla Popken and MarketLive will create a new, robust eCommerce website for the U.S. and Canadian markets that is optimized to drive conversion rates. The apparel leader will utilize MarketLive Intelligent Marketing and Merchandising (IMM) features to integrate email, personalization, and on-site merchandising on the new site.

Ulla Popken selected MarketLive because of rich functionality provided by the MarketLive platform combined with the company's deep expertise in multichannel apparel retailing. Additionally, MarketLive's integration with best-of-breed eCommerce companies such as Bronto, MyBuys, and Omniture, offers a complete and robust solution. Ulla Popken also liked MarketLive's approach of partnering with its retailers to build and manage successful eCommerce businesses.

Ulla Popken will launch its new site on the MarketLive Intelligent Commerce platform that combines powerful eCommerce software, highly-reliable, scalable IT infrastructure, and the ability to easily integrate third-party or custom-built features. The platform also includes the MarketLive Integrated Marketing and Merchandising (IMM) Suite, a set of integrated segmentation, personalization, alerting, email, and search engine optimization technologies that attract the right customers and reach individual shoppers with relevant emails and offers.
