New York & Co ties up with Sterling Always in Stock

Sterling Commerce, an AT&T Inc company announced that New York & Company Inc. a leading specialty retailer of fashion-oriented, moderately priced women's apparel, will deploy Sterling Always in Stock as part of the retailer's efforts to achieve seamless cross-channel operations. Sterling Always in Stock is a new solution that combines advanced cross-channel order management with seamless integration capabilities. The retailer will leverage the software to improve the customer experience and optimize inventory efficiency.

The retailer's proprietary branded New York & Company™ merchandise is sold exclusively through its national network of 592 retail stores in 44 states and e-commerce store at www.nyandcompany.com. The company will deploy Sterling Always in Stock in an initial 100-store pilot as part of an initiative to deliver a superlative store experience whereby associates are empowered to help customers get what they want, when they want it. By integrating Sterling Always in Stock with its point-of-sale systems, New York & Company will be able to support advanced cross-channel fulfillment by allowing ship to home, for goods not available at the store in a seamless purchasing experience.
