Incorporatewear, one of the UK's leading suppliers of corporate clothing, announced the completion of its commercial and operational implementation of SyscomERP earlier this month. As well as providing for improved operational capabilities, this specialist software will offer Incorporatewear's host of blue-chip clients, including Barclays Bank, Rolls Royce,Premier Inn, Elizabeth Arden, London Midland and Jewson, enhanced wardrobe management and customer service functionality.

Developed by award winning software company Syscom PLC, specifically for companies operating in the technical textiles, corporatewear, safety wear and PPE sectors, SyscomERP facilitates the unification of data and processes, promotes company-wide collaboration and supports a leaner, more efficient operation at Incorporatewear. “We have over 30 years of experience within the textile and apparel industries,” explains Robin Vryenhoef,Product Specialist of Syscom PLC, “which allows us to have a greater understanding of our clients' needs. Only with a true understanding of each client's requirements can a company really deliver a solution that ensures return on investment.”

This transition from stand-alone bespoke software to a robust operating platform and comprehensive systems integration is an important step forward for Incorporatewear. “This project has allowed Incorporatewear to critically examine all of its internal processes,” comments Chris Wood, a director of Incorporatewear. “We went back to basics and built systems across our commercial, procurement and operational departments to reflect our clients' needs as well as our own. We're very pleased with the results and have much to thank Syscom for in this respect.”

Syscom Web Wardrobe, the online ordering functionality within SyscomERP, allows Incorporatewear to create a web portal in minutes, offering each customer a dedicated website where wearers can place orders for garments, check stock availability, track orders, make returns and amend their details online. “We will be able to provide state-of-the-art solutions for online ordering, wardrobe management and access to real-time information,” says Chris. “We think clients, and their wearers, will not only find these developments extremely exciting but also eminently practical.”

With each web portal uniquely tailored to the customer's needs and ordering process, including their specific garment entitlement regulations, Syscom Web Wardrobe streamlines the sales order process for both Incorporatewear and their clients. Following an initial implementation of SyscomERP for a small number of clients in October 2009, Incorporatewear has recently completed its implementation across its remaining clients. “This final stage of the implementation was particularly important as it involved electronically linking the purchase order systems of some of our largest clients,” explains Chris. “We've been planning this for a long time and we're now in a very strong position to harness our systems with the web and provide a seamless client experience that's second to none.”
