Gold W PhoneWatch combines function & fashion

Kempler & Strausstm, a world-leading designer and manufacturer of innovative mobile devices and wireless technology products, will showcase the world's smallest GSM quad-band cell phone dress watch at CTIA Wireless 2010 (booth 6721) with the unveiling of a gold version of its innovative W PhoneWatch. Designed for users who want to appear more chic than geek, the company will ship 1,000 limited-edition gold W PhoneWatches in Q3 2010 offering consumers the convenience and functionality of a cell phone in a wearable fashionable wristwatch form factor.
In addition, Kempler & Strauss announced that the long-awaited W PhoneWatch, which is available in a variety of stylish colors, is now shipping and can be purchased through the company website.
The W PhoneWatch was announced in October 2009 and ships with The Communicator, an innovative Bluetooth headset that allows users to place and receive phone calls and listen to their stored MP3 files in stereo. The wearable W PhoneWatch incorporates a robust set of features, including a GSM quad-band phone, wrist watch, touchscreen interface, still and video cameras, MP3 player, and useful applications including a calendar, address book and the ability to easily compose and send text messages. In response to the feedback from beta testers, Kempler & Strauss ships the W PhoneWatch with a 2GB Micro SD memory card and has included some feature enhancements in the shipping products including the ability to synchronize contacts with Outlook, and utilize the W PhoneWatch as a webcam and USB mass storage device when connected to the PC via the included USB cable.
“Interest and demand for our W PhoneWatch has been growing exponentially month-over-month since we first showed the product at the CTIA Wireless I.T. show last fall and now that the product has begun shipping, we're very excited to get it into the hands and onto the wrists of our customers. We truly believe that the W PhoneWatch is going to revolutionize the way in which people communicate,” explained Isaac Calderon, President of Kempler & Strauss. “We know that W PhoneWatch will not replace Smartphones as the primary communications device for the majority of our customers.
