Series of fashion industry seminars by Lawson Software

Lawson Software announced a series of fashion industry seminars in Europe to introduce customers, prospects, media and analysts to the latest version of the industry-specific enterprise system for fashion companies.
Lawson for Fashion, available since February 2010, is based on the latest version of the Lawson enterprise management system, version 10.1. When Lawson introduced the new solution to the market, Propper International, Inc., a leading apparel manufacturer and one of the largest suppliers of uniforms for the U.S.Department of Defense, became a pilot customer for the new release.
Lawson for Fashion connects business processes from product concept to customer, and comes with more than 200 new functional enhancements. The solution links and manages a wide range of business processes, from the core enterprise system and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution to assortment and replenishment planning to warehouse management and sourcing, as well as purchasing and planning. It includes Lawson Analytics for Fashion with preconfigured, industry-specific scorecards and KPIs that provide meaningful business intelligence into the key data of the customer systems.
Together with some well-known Lawson fashion customers in Europe, Lawson will present within the next weeks the new Lawson for Fashion offering in Hisings Backa/Sweden (June 15), Lyon/ France (June 30) and in Valencia/Spain, Warmond/The Netherlands and New York City during the autumn.
