Datacolor ties up with SETEX Schermuly textile computer GmbH

Datacolor, a global leader in color management solutions, and SETEX, the premier provider of textile automation solutions, announced a strategic partnership designed to utilize the core strengths of each company in order to create more effective integration and communication between laboratory and production.

Through its new partnership, Datacolor and SETEX will provide customers with the resources necessary to streamline production workflow from lab to bulk. The companies will collaborate in the development of integration tools which will provide seamless exchange of laboratory color-recipe information with production, and add convenient features to the software suites. The partnership also entails an open exchange of ideas and technologies, as well as close cooperation in sales, support and marketing for the textile dyeing and finishing markets.

“This is a great benefit for customers who expect solutions that respond to the needs of today's industry and also combine affordability with enhanced electronic data transfer, thereby simplifying administration and production workflows - especially those that incorporate total quality management and efficiency elements,” said Jürgen Jerzembeck, Head of Marketing, SETEX.

Together, Datacolor and SETEX represent an unsurpassed concentration of expertise and excellence in the textile dyeing and finishing industry. Both companies have made critical investments in the equipment, software and research necessary to improve quality control in textiles manufacturing, and this partnership represents the latest efforts to do so.
