Beacon's wireless network for leading apparel retailer

Beacon Enterprise Solutions Group, Inc. an emerging global leader in the design, implementation and management of high performance Information Technology Systems (ITS) infrastructure solutions, announced it has expanded its relationship with one of the world's largest specialty apparel retailers, by signing a contract to implement ITS solutions at two of the client's new international expansion fulfillment facilities for on-line and catalog sales.
This new project covers two of the retailer's fulfillment centers, one in Canada and the other in the United Kingdom, where Beacon will be responsible for implementing a separate, discrete wireless network for a material handling fulfillment system that automates picking, sorting and distribution for the retailer to minimize time resources and increase accuracy in the fulfillment of customer orders.
This retailer operates over 3,000 stores throughout the U.S., UK, Canada, France and Ireland, and employs more than 130,000 people. Beacon has previously announced work with this specialty retailer in May of 2009, and as a result of that engagement, has been awarded an additional ITS infrastructure contract.
