Burlington Coat to analyze workforce metrics with OrgPlus

HumanConcepts, the leading provider of workforce decision support solutions, announced that Burlington Coat Factory has selected OrgPlus Enterprise to provide deeper insight into its workforce and help plan for and manage workforce change.

By deploying OrgPlus Enterprise, Burlington Coat Factory will have an up-to-date visual organizational hierarchy of 4,000 employees initially, including their corporate office, distribution centers, field management, store and assistant managers. Seamless integration with the company's Oracle HR system will provide current workforce information and the ability to chart key performance indicators such as span of control, department budgets and salaries. OrgPlus provides an accurate and current view of the entire workforce along with valuable metrics for improved control and decision making.

“The implementation of OrgPlus Enterprise allows us to view the entire organization, analyze workforce metrics, and understand what we need to do to make the organization most effective,” commented Joyce Manning, EVP, Human Resources, Burlington Coat Factory. “The OrgPlus solution allows our executives and HR staff to view the entire organization in context and access the workforce information needed to make more informed staffing and budget decisions.”

In the future, Burlington Coat Factory plans on incorporating exempt store employees into the visual organizational hierarchy as well as implementing the award-winning OrgPlus Enterprise Blueprint solution to model workforce options and plan for change. OrgPlus Enterprise Blueprint provides a fast, flexible web-based system to align the workforce with business goals, and evaluate how change options would impact budgets and organizational structure.
