Skerpa Design to have Visual new footwear-specific PLM

Visual 2000 International Inc. is partnering with noted footwear design and development consultants Skerpa Design to create a next-generation product lifecycle management (PLM) solution for the footwear industry.
The new footwear-specific PLM is based on Visual 2000's VisualPLM.net, a comprehensive PLM solution proven in the fashion and softgoods industries. To be released this month, the new footwear edition promises to provide footwear retailers, brands, and manufacturers with a robust, best-fit solution for managing their merchandising, design, product development, pre-production, and sourcing processes.
“We are greatly benefitting from the footwear process guidance and insight that Skerpa Design brings to this important business solution,” stated Charles Benoualid vice president of research and development.
