DUO is meeting the new season with new investment

With the seasons on the turn, ladies' boots and shoes specialists DUO have launched their latest and most stylish collection to date, backed by further impressive investments in e-commerce.

The Autumn 2010 collection of ladies' fitted boots and shoes has received acclaim from editors and stylists across the media board, already featuring in Tatler, Woman & Home, Prima, and on Gok's Fashion Fix and 10 Years Younger.

From a purchasing perspective, this year's Duo customer will find the collection supported by new on-line features such as product videos and the expansion of payment options - a much appreciated development particularly for European customers with DUO now accepting both E C Carte and Carte Bleu.

The company has also invested heavily in the web analytics package, Coremetrics, which lifts the company's consumer insight to a welcome and enviable new level of sophistication. Investment such as this in uncertain times suggests DUO is meeting the new season with both confidence and determination, and places the company in a strong position to remain the clear leader in the niche fitted footwear market.

In some respects it is easy to see why DUO is flourishing. Having acknowledged that women's legs are not all the same, and having recognized that many women are not happy with the one-size-fits-all approach adopted by the high street at large, DUO's almost-bespoke product at an off-the-peg price has revolutionized women's wardrobes across the world.

Add to this an unrivalled choice of styles/sizes and an approach to customer service that sets the brand apart, the reasons customers love DUO and remain so loyal begin to show. But behind the scenes it is the company's talent and vision, with one eye on the market and one eye on the future that makes sound business thinking and strategy the foundations for its success. Investment in the right areas at the right time has seen this family business grow and grow.
