GARAGE broadens its NA reach with new e-commerce channel

GARAGE, a Canadian apparel brand which has been delivering affordable casual fashion to teens in Canada and the United States, announced the launch of its much anticipated e-commerce site. As of now, Garage's new and existing customers are able to shop online at www.garage.ca.

The new site will be shipping effortlessly cool styles within Canada, and later this fall - across the United States. The site will showcase a full range of hoodies, denim, tees, camis and an assortment of buzz-worthy styles – to be frequently updated with up-to-the minute looks for every season.

“We are pleased to be launching the Garage e-commerce experience this fall, and in time for the upcoming Holiday period. This is really a natural extension of our existing business, broadening our access of the Garage brand and delivering our strong casual fashion message to teen girls across more channels. We see the introduction of this channel as another important way to connect with our core customer, and provide her with access like never before”, says Anna Martini, President of Groupe Dynamite, the parent company.

The Garage website visitor will experience a new look, strong photography components, ease of navigation, and fun, happy graphics to support the brand visually. The site comprises advanced online merchandising, ordering and processing, coupled with unique shopping tools. Other key features include wish lists linked to social media forums, and various other personalized touches that provide a world-class purchasing process that's both frictionless and fun.

“We want to deliver an online channel that provides our customer a unique personalized experience, while complementing the effectiveness of our other shopping channels”, says Monica Salinas, E-commerce Director at Groupe Dynamite.

With ongoing expansion – and no signs of slowing down, Garage's landscape continues to broaden its reach with the opening of more stores South of the border (Miami, FL this past June, Providence, RI and Buffalo, NY in the upcoming months), and abroad (Dubai U.A.E this past May, and Qatar in the Fall of 2010). Garage continues to set the bar higher in leading its global expansion, which combined with its new e-commerce channel, makes the brand fully accessible to teen girls everywhere.
