Launch of Visual BI.net software at Apparel Tech Conference

Nov '10
Visual 2000 International Inc. will leverage its participation in this week's Apparel Tech Conference in New York to launch its Visual BI.net business intelligence and planning solution.

As the latest in the company's growing portfolio of End-2-End business solutions designed exclusively for fashion and softgoods companies, the new software automates and more fully integrates retail point-of-sale (POS) data into the design, merchandising, and product development processes.

When used in conjunction with the company's PLM and ERP systems, Visual BI.net ties together the entire concept-to-consumer fashion lifecycle. The new software promises to improve access and visibility into overall sales performance to enable companies to make more profitable line, merchandise, and allocation decisions.

According to Visual 2000 Vice President of Research and Development Charles Benoualid, “Visual BI.net is the component that many fashion companies have been looking for to complete true concept-to-consumer integration. While most companies have access to retail POS information, they are challenged to decipher the various formats and metrics that retail reports contain. Visual BI.net integrates all of this data and presents it in an easy to understand fashion that supports more timely and better informed planning decisions.”

Highlights of the new Visual BI.net software include:

• Easy to Use Out-of-the-Box Solution
• Works with All Retail POS Formats
• Analyzes Sales by Location, Color, etc.
• Drives More Profitable Allocations
• Fully Integrated with Visual PLM.net
• Built on Latest Microsoft Web Technology

Visual BI.net features built-in integration with the company's popular Visual PLM.net product lifecycle management (PLM) solution. This innovative combination represents a single-source, out-of-the-box solution that brings together the concept-to-consumer process as never before.
