Gerber Technology, a business unit of Gerber Scientific Inc, announces the introduction of YuniqueBI – a platform aimed at supporting smarter business decisions via improved visibility and reporting throughout the product lifecycle management process.

Data originating from ERP and other third-party business systems is easily integrated and consolidated into highly visual dashboards and reports. "While the implementation of business intelligence has improved in recent years, information is still often under-utilized,” explains Daniel Pak, chief software architect for Gerber Technology's Software Solutions division.

“Because our software stores critical information required by our customers and closely interacts with other transactional systems, it was a natural progression to provide the key BI platform our clients need. In today's volatile business climate, a proactive stance based on immediate, accurate and intelligent information is the only truly successful management method for an organization,” he added.

YuniqueBI ensures total data integrity and accessibility, thereby enabling real-time decision making capabilities. It deploys information and analytics through a client's secure YuniquePLM web server. The web-based interactive reports and graphs are easily accessible via a laptop, smartphone or other mobile device.

YuniqueBI equips organizations encountering decision-making challenges with easy-to-understand, interactive dashboards and reports. YuniqueBI empowers executives and end-users to make informed real-time business decisions all while ensuring enterprise-wide data integrity.

Within YuniquePLM, SQL Reporting Services can be utilized to create reports and dashboards to meet an individual's or group's unique requirements. Users can also configure reports according to personal preferences.

According to Elizabeth King, executive director of Software Product Management at Gerber Technology, “We've received very positive responses to this new offering. Increasing visibility and empowering individuals across the enterprise to make well-informed decisions has improved company processes resulting in substantial time and cost savings.”
