HCL Technologies, a global leader in IT Services, announced a multi-year partnership with Lojas Renner - the second largest fashion retailer in Brazil. Under this partnership, HCL will be responsible for supporting Oracle systems, deployed in more than 130 stores of Lojas Renner across Brazil.

HCL has been working with Lojas Renner for more than a year and has been engaged in strategic consulting programs aimed at optimizing the performance of Oracle Retail and E-business environments at Renner. HCL has also partnered with Lojas Renner on developing a significant number of applications that support store operations and reporting for Lojas Renner.

“One of the key benefits of working with HCL has been access to specialized resources from the global talent pool at HCL. We have been very pleased with the results achieved in the last year and as a result have engaged HCL for a long term Oracle Applications support partnership” said Leandro Balbinot, Lojas Renner IT and Processes Management Director.

“We are pleased to be awarded this contract by Lojas Renner. This is reflective of our ability to bring value to progressive retailers like Lojas Renner leveraging our global and local teams. With this latest win with Lojas Renner, we are committed to support Lojas Renner in their strong growth plans in Brazil.” said Ideval Munhoz, General Manager, HCL Brazil.

HCL will be delivering these services from its Global delivery center in Sao Leopoldo which is conveniently located close to Renner's headquarters in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. The Sao Leopoldo Global Delivery Center was established by HCL in 2009 and currently services a good mix of local and global customers.
