B.O.S. completes mobile laundry control system for IDF textile complex

Better Online Solutions Ltd (BOS) announced that it completed a mobile laundry control system for the Israel Defense Forces' (IDF) textile complex. The IDF textile complex is responsible for laundering army uniforms, clothes and other textile items.
The project, which BOS won following a Ministry of Defense tender, generated approximately $150,000 in revenues, most of which was reflected in the Company's third quarter financial statements.
As the containers carrying laundry items arrive from different army bases, the BOS laundry control solution weighs and labels each container, and provides a receipt to the base from which it was sent. The center can thus track the container and its contents through the textile complex, ensuring that the items are laundered and dried according to the label on the container.
The data collection system includes barcodes, mobile printers, Intermec mobile handheld terminals and mobile weight-scales on forklifts, all managed using the BOS ID software platform.
Yuval Viner, BOS CEO stated: “This project further demonstrates our ability to provide turnkey data collection solutions that help various organizations optimize their operations.”
