Visual PLM.net garners top scores in Independent PLM Evaluation

Visual 2000 International Inc announces that its Visual PLM.net product lifecycle management software solution has been benchmarked among the top PLM solutions by independent industry information and analyst firm WhichPLM.
In the recently published results, Visual PLM.net Version 3.11 scored among the top 5% of all PLM systems evaluated by the popular website. The highest placement came in the functionality category, where Visual PLM.net received 93 out of a maximum 100 points. The product received perfect scores in the important specification management, bill-of-materials, bill-of-labor, construction, and change management capabilities.
“We are pleased with the progress our product teams have made and are honored to receive this independent recognition”, stated Visual 2000 Vice President of Research and Development Charles Benoualid. “These results confirm our commitment to providing a feature-rich and technologically advanced software solution.”
Compared with earlier version evaluations, Visual PLM.net showed significant improvement in every category in the evaluation, which included commercial, functional, technical, and implementation. The WhichPLM benchmark is a rigorous 10-day deep dive process that examines and scores PLM products and suppliers based on an exclusive 860 item questionnaire.
According to Mark Harrop, managing director of WhichPLM, “We are pleased to see that the Visual 2000 team has acted upon the previous results and recommendations to move their product and company forward. Visual 2000 continues to show a high degree of focus toward continued improvement and we look forward to their further advances.”
Visual PLM.net provides retailers and their supply chain partners with a configurable, out-of-the-box software solution for managing all product information and images, colors and raw materials, merchandise and line plans, size and technical specifications, sampling and costing, time and action calendars, and other critical business assets and processes.
