SML Intelligent Inventory Solutions (IIS) announced recently that the Clarity 3.x retail RFID software platform is one of the top ten finalists for the RFID Journal Live 2016 best new product award, according to a company press release.

The SML IIS Clarity 3.x software contains enterprise-class scalability and all the functionality to optimise inventory management and supply chain visibility from the factory floor to the store, reducing shrink and out-of-stocks, improving omni-channel efficiency and enabling a seamless evolution to the new world of retail.

The flexible Clarity 3.x retail software platform offers cost-effective solutions available to leading retailers, brand owners and large department stores to improve inventory accuracy and product on-shelf availability, increasing sales and enabling various omni-channel fulfillment models, while eliminating the need for third-party audits.

“The micro-services and cloud-based Clarity 3.x platform is being used by many of the world's biggest names in retail, delivering real-time inventory management across global retail supply chains for proven and rapid return on investment. Our team's understanding of the new wave of retail operations' best practices that come from using RFID are the foundation behind this very innovative and scalable product for retailers, as proven by the more than 3 billion RFID transactions successfully run on clarity in 2015 alone” said, Dean Frew, founder of SML IIS, Chief Technology Officer and Sr. Vice President of RFID Solutions for SML Group.

SML IIS is a member of the SML Group, a global total brand identification solutions provider serving an international clientele consisting of top fashion brands and some of the world's most innovative apparel retailers including American Apparel, Tesco F&F and others. (HO)
