Apr '16
Tentree, a leading outdoor lifestyle apparel company, has selected Centric Small Business from Centric Software to support its growth strategy.

Tentree is Centric's first customer in Canada to adopt the Centric Small Business solution, a cloud-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution available on a subscription basis (SaaS), and is tailored for small businesses to speed product development, improve costs and increase market responsiveness.

“Tentree only started 4 years ago. With our company growing so quickly, we need support to manage complexity and to streamline our design and development process. Our product lines and our teams are growing so rapidly that we need an automated approach to be more efficient and to better collaborate across our internal, satellite and overseas offices. Centric Small Business will help us speed our development process and shorten our lead times to eventually better serve our customers as we expand our product categories,” said Derrick Emsley, CEO, Tentree.

“We are really excited to be part of Tentree's inspiring environmental adventure. We share the same vision of innovation and doing business differently. Centric Small Business will support Tentree expand its offering and set the foundation for future growth,” said Chris Groves, president and CEO, Centric Software in a press release.

Tentree was founded on the premise of fostering environmental stewardship, sustainability and social responsibility. For every tentree item purchased, 10 trees are planted. The clothing company offers pullovers, hoodies, yoga pants, t-shirts, tank tops and hats, and has planted almost 8 million trees around the world.
