TXT Retail, and leading provider of integrated and collaborative end-to-end planning, PLM, and supply chain collaboration solutions for the luxury, fashion and consumer sectors, has scored full marks, 5 out of 5, in all use cases in the Critical Capabilities for Merchandise Assortment Management Applications Report, by Gartner, Inc., the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, published August 25, 2015.

Gartner's Critical Capabilities research offers comparative analysis and helps global retailers identify the solutions which best fit their needs by benchmarking competing products and services against a set of differentiating capabilities.

More specifically, the report evaluated 12 providers against 15 critical capabilities in retail - including item clustering, item analytics with visualisation, item-level planning, and automated store/channel/item assignment - with 3 different use cases scenarios: CPG and Grocery Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, and General Merchandising.

The Critical Capabilities report complements the “Magic Quadrant for Merchandise Assortment Management Applications,” where TXT e-solutions was recently recognised as a leader based on its ability to execute and completeness of vision, moving up from the visionaries' quadrant in 2014, according to a press release.

Peter Charness, SVP and chief marketing officer at TXT Retail said, “We believe Gartner's findings further validate the uniqueness of our solution in terms of breadth, depth and innovation. Creating customer focused assortments in the omnichannel era requires the ability to transfer customer insights and market intelligence back upstream to any aspect of planning and merchandising. A strong and ever growing community of global retailers and thought leaders acknowledge that TXT solutions and its customers are at the forefront of introducing customer-centric enterprise-wide processes.” (GK)
