IFTH transfers business line software packages to PRIOS

On 17 January 2007, IFTH and PRIOS GROUPE finalised an agreement for the transfer of IFTH's business line software package activities to PRIOS GROUPE. For several years, IFTH, a technological centre assisting in innovation, has been involved in software development at the request of its industrial companies.
By providing its business line expertise to the Textile and Apparel profession, IFTH has designed, developed and provided specialised software to companies, as a means of carrying out its primary missions as an industrial technical centre.
Today, IFTH is focusing its activities on its corporate objective dedicated to research, innovation and technological transfer, such as 3 D design, or design, manufacturing, finishing and marketing engineering of materials and products thanks to workshops
and digital tools.
In this context, IFTH has decided to place its software in the market's economic circuit. The choice of the PRIOS GROUPE Company for the transfer of the software was essential in achieving an objective aiming at guaranteeing a continuity of services ensured until now by IFTH.
The PRIOS GROUPE Company, located in Nantes, has been involved over the last fifteen years in the Fashion activity sector. It has the advantage of having true expertise in information systems for this sector, as seen in the ESTELLE range of software packages.
Through this transfer, PRIOS GROUPE strengthens its offer as a business line specialist. The ESTELLE software packages cover functional processes linked to globalisation, from the creation of models to in-store sales. The integration of the software designed by IFTH contributes to the expansion of functionalities and reinforces the sectorial positioning of ESTELLE software packages.
The agreement involves seven software packages: P.R.I. Systeme, VETIQUAL tissus, Sub-contracting and Manufacturing, GRAPHE G, GALAE and EDI Appro. They primarily cover technical business line functions: technical drawings with a business line library, translation of technical files, fabric quality controls, sub-contractors and workshops, quick calculation of cost price, and productivity management in workshops.
