YMI Jeanswear announced Kimberly Caldwell as their newest Brand Ambassador for the denim company's Fall 2009 national and international advertising campaign. Continuing to showcase rising stars, YMI hand-picked the singer, actress and television personality to represent the brand's image.

Kimberly Caldwell gained national recognition during her time on the second season of the television phenomenon, "American Idol," and is also known for her work as an entertainment correspondent and host for the TV Guide Network. Soon, Kimberly will be seen as the host of a new MTV show produced by Mark Burnett and Sean "P.Diddy" Combs, "P.Diddy's StarMaker," set to premiere in late spring/early summer 2009.

Kimberly's first love continues to be music and she is presently writing and recording songs for her debut album with the help of music industry legend Diane Warren. Adding to her promising career, she is set to get her own Ryan Seacrest-produced reality show, tentatively titled "Crashing With the Caldwells," which will follow her in the studio recording her album, attending and hosting red-carpet events and living in her Los Angeles home with her sisters.

YMI is taking the brand image out-of-bounds to capture a mood by composing shots with depth, texture and a pallet of neutral soft colors. The campaign will reveal an edgy and bold look showcasing denim, which appeals to wider range of consumers.

"I'm beyond excited to be the new face of YMI Jeans," Kimberly shares. "I'm a huge fan of their line and I've been involved with the brand for years doing fashion shows and various events so I was definitely thrilled with the opportunity to be their new brand ambassador for Fall 2009! I've had such a blast working on the campaign so far and I can't wait for it to launch!"

The campaign will unveil June 2009. The print and digital advertising portion of the campaign will be featured in fashion and entertainment publications and websites. The outdoor billboard campaign will be displayed throughout the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
