Preview of Gaurang's Nature Inspired Practical Wear

After Charming the Mumbai Fashion Enthusiasts with his Kanjeevarmas with Kalamkari which got him the best Indian weave designer award in 2012, this Signature Gaurang 'Nature Inspired' Practical Women’s Wear Collection is more varied, more experimental.

Gaurang will preview his new collections in Mumbai on October 4-6, 2012 at the Vaya Store, Bandra in Mumbai. 
 
Gaurang amazing understanding of women in fashion during the Lakme Fashion Week Winter Fest in Mumbai, love of Indian weaves design and unique appeal to the uber fashion consumers has helped him to create the exciting collection. 
 
Working closely with his designers and weavers across the country, Gaurang has created a co-ordinated range of chic, modern, stylish pieces, interpreting the latest catwalk trends as well as using favourite contemporary and timeless key pieces for inspiration in Khadi, Cotton and Silk. 
 
Speaking about his collections Gaurang said “Nature Inspired Practical Wear' Collections are aimed at the woman who loves clothes and fashion, who wants versatile separates that are beautifully cut, in traditional hand-woven Indian fabrics with dedicated attention to detail that she can wear both at work and at a social do.”
 
“I want my customers to enjoy being inspired on how to wear the looks and how to create glamorous, modern outfits that are confident and aspirational signature style.” Gaurang adds
 
Commenting on the collection Chashme Buddoor actor Taapsee Pannu says; “I am so excited each time Gaurang launches his creations. His range has been so inspiring and is designed to have a really broad appeal. I have such a passion to wear designer wears that is truly stylish, practical as well experience a sense of joy in the creations and Gaurang knows exactly what women like to wear”. 
 
The Nature Inspired Practical collection includes straight jackets offering a chic tailored look while hand-woven kanjeevarms in Kalamkari are elegant and relaxed. Dresses are versatile, nature inspired fits perfectly into a day or night look.  A limited selection of shawls and scarves offer the essential finishing touches.
 
The colour palettes complement in soft neutrals and splashes of brights.  Prints and embellishment such as leaves, flowers, and animals add drama and wow factor, helping make the appeal broad and inclusive.
