| eBIZ-TCF Public Conference to be held in October | | September 23, 2009 (Belgium) |  |
 The large-scale European conference will present the final results of the eBIZ-TCF project. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about eBusiness data exchanges applied in the Textile, Clothing & Footwear industries, and particularly:
The Conference will take place from October 20-21, 2009 at the PLAZA Hotel, Brussels.
• Understand how harmonised e-business processes based on affordable technology can offer big operational advantages to small (or large) companies;
• Hear success stories from individual textile, clothing, footwear and retail companies which have implemented the eBIZ pilot system;
• Evaluate and discuss e-business opportunities;
• Listen to the EC’s appraisal of this first-of-its-kind project in which the TCF industries pioneered the way for other sectors to follow.
Key note speakers include high-level representatives of the European Commission (DG Enterprise), the involved industry and retail sectors, ICT providers and standardisation bodies.
The event will be held in English, with translation from/to French, German, Italian and Spanish.
The participation will be free of charge and limited to the registered participants.
The eBIZ-TCF project is a 2-year cooperation project launched in January 2008 by the European Commission to boost e-business processes in the Textile/Clothing and Footwear (TCF) Industries. | | | | eBIZ-TCF Public Conference | |
