Kingbird brings Oeko-Tex Standard 100 yarns, threads

Kingbird, a leading yarns and threads manufacturer in China, has introduced the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified yarns and threads. This is part of the company's commitment to adhere to all global quality standards, with all certificates for Oeko-Tex Standard, ATC, BSCI and SGS quality test reports available on Kingbird's official website.

"At the heart of every Kingbird yarn and thread is our desire to adhere to strict and consistent manufacturing standards in every aspect; right from raw material selection to finished textile product," said Jessica Lee, Kingbird's product manager.

Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex is a critical test in the fabric and yarn industry that was introduced in 1992. It outlines all the fundamental quality testing procedures for raw materials, semi-finished to finished textile products. The testing criteria involves assessing quality of knitted fabrics, buttons, woven fabrics, dyed yarns, finished yarns, labels and sewing threads.

Kingbird, through the research and development and laboratory evaluates raw materials and finished yarns and fabrics for banned substances such as nickel, cadmium and formaldehyde, among other substances. Furthermore, the standard 100 by Oeko-Tec ensures yarns and threads conform to the European Chemicals Regulation annexes XVII and XIV.

Kingbird Threads and Yarns’ product line includes embroidery thread, sewing thread, pre-wound bobbin yarn, nylon sewing and bonded nylon thread. Additionally, Kingbird has a range of yarns, which includes metallic, fancy, blended, knitting, carpet, functional, craft and high tenacity polyester yarns.
