Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), India's largest private sector company and world's largest manufacturer of integrated polyester, will showcase its range of innovative non-woven offerings at Index 2017 (Stand Number 1181) in Geneva from 4th to 7th April.
Encouraged by the tremendous response received on its previous Index visit, RIL will be showcasing its most technologically advanced innovative gamut of non-woven fibres and products at Index 2017. The company is now focusing on expanding its Recron® brand's reach globally, predominantly in Europe & North America, alongside its core market in India.
Reliance will exhibit its fibres and products made from the bouquet of Recron® brand at Stall No: 1181, located beside the Exhibitor Product Presentation Forum's enclosure at Index 2017. The products that will be on display are as follows:
Recron® Non-woven Fibre: This high functionality polyester fibre is specially engineered to suit next-generation processing needs, and is most suitable for high production speed non-woven processes.
Recron® Spunlace fibre: This is another innovative fibre from the house of RIL, and is used in the manufacture of advanced quality wipes. Wipes made from this fibre are softer, lighter in weight, drier and environment friendly. Their fluffy texture provides higher absorption capability and covers larger surface area. Wipes made from Recron® Spunlace fibre have the potential to transform today's conventional wipe market.
Recron® fibres have unique properties like low shrinkage and high elongation. Speciality offerings include UV-stable, inert and dope-dyed properties. All this makes Recron® fibres most suitable to meet the needs of high performance needle-punched non-wovens.
Recron® high-loft thermal bonded non-wovens: The product range includes speciality high-void, permanently crimped, anti-microbial fibres, such as hollow virgin, hollow conjugate, and green eco-friendly hollow conjugate fibres. The fine denier/pre-blended fibres for thermal bonded non-wovens, made by calendaring, too is a part of the range.
Recron® 3s: It is an outcome of years of research and development at RIL.This special short-cut polyester fibre acts as secondary reinforcement in concrete which arrests cracks, increases resistance to impact/abrasion and greatly improves quality of construction in walls, foundations, tanks, roads and pre-cast products like blocks, pipes, tiles, manhole covers, etc. RIL has re-engineered this fibre with an advanced finish to provide excellent dispersion for a uniform wet laid non-woven process. In combination with bonding material, Recron® 3s improves tear, tensile and burst strength. Porosity, dimensional stability, bulk and folding endurance can be modified by using Recron® 3s.
Repol® Non-Woven polypropylene products: RIL will display Repol® Non-Woven polypropylene products for the first time at Index 2017. The product offering includes disposable hospital curtains, surgery-wise operational kits, melt blown filter cartridges, banana bunch skirting bags, sandwich bags, disposable railway bed rolls and head rest.
