Historical Preview of IMB

The history of IMB is one long success story. A machine exhibition for the clothing industry took place in Cologne far back in 1958, and in 1973, this event took place as an independent trade fair called IMB. By 1991, the IMB had grown to a size of 100.000 m2. Only three years later, 704 exhibitors attended IMB ‘97. The IMB 2000 was the tenth of its kind, and 754 exhibitors from 40 countries met with 30,000 trade visitors from 100 countries at this, the most important event in this sector’s calender year.

IMB 2003

IMB 2003 will offer highly qualified trade visitors from the clothing and textile processing industries, the world’s most extensive range of machinery, electronics, software and manufacturing technology.
