SAFYR is unique amongst independent polypropylene fibre producers in that it acquires technology and expertise from its 'sister company' PFE Engineering Ltd. PFE Engineering Ltd. is a world renowned manufacturer of polypropylene fibre extrusion machinery for the manufacture of staple fibre, multi filament yarn and bulk continuous filament (BCF).

PFE Engineering Ltd. develops and builds extrusion equipment and therefore has on site, full facilities for fibre innovation and technical development. These facilities are maximised in an ongoing program of research which has yielded dividends in the form of improved fibre properties and the broadening of SAFYR range of fibre, carpet and rug types, each designed for specific areas of the market .
