TCF Dissolving Pulp and TCF Viscose Staple Fibre

CELLTECHs cellulose main application is the production of cut viscose staple fibre. CELLTECHs cellulose allows all our clients to obtain a total chlorine free fibre, a product specially indicated for the ever-growing hygienic and sanitary sector.

Other important applications, although manufactured in less volume, are cellophane, sponges, CMC or polymer molding.

Besides, there are constant researches to adapt the product to other applications, given that our manufacturing process is reasonably flexible to the parameters of viscosity, level of alpha cellulose or any other physiochemical feature required by the market.

VISCOCEL, produces viscose fibre Totally Chlorine Free. Viscose is a cellulose fibre that gives the products properties such absorption, feel, shine and transpiration that are difficultly replaced by other fibres. It is used 100% in applications or mixed with either natural fibres (cotton, wool, linen) or synthetic fibres (polyester, polypropylene, acrylics or polyamines). VISCOCEL has a capacity to develop customized types of fibre, depending on the specific needs of its customers. Viscosels product range can be divided into 3 main categories as below described:

VISCOSE FOR SPINNING: From 1.7dtex to 8.8dtex and with the length from 32mm to 120mm, many combinations can be produced and allows Visoccel to offer to its customers a very wide range of fibre. The finishing of this fibre is mainly bright but Viscocel also produces for its customers Viscose fibre with dull finishing for spinning.

VISCOSE FOR NONWOVEN: An important part of the Viscose production is centered in the NonWoven sector for sanitary applications (lint, nappies, towels, bandages), household (dishcloths, tablecloths, mops, napkins) or industrial sector (geotextiles, filters, insulators, protectors). As Viscose for spinning, Viscocel produces a wide range from 1.7dtex to 4.2dtex, with several length cut, always Totally Chorine Free.

INHERENT FR VISCOSE: Viscocel extended its product range with the development of the inherent Flame retardant Viscose fibre. The main application of Viscocels FR fibre is a fire barrier applied in the production of mattress, plains and trains seats, curtains. Thanks to its inherent characteristic, Viscocels FR fibre does not wash off and keep its properties of fire barrier as time goes by.

Besides, our FR fibre is now approved in the biggest Mattress producers. In fact, Viscocel has developed its own Brand name for this product, VISCOSAFE which fulfils U.S. bed mattress flame retardant regulations.

Although Viscosafe has been embraced by U.S. NonWoven producers as the key component in proprietary blends for mattresses and top-of-the bed applications, the FR fibre can also be applied in a wide range of Non woven applications like automotive, household and technical Textile
