Why Tracient?

Despite a range of available options, SeeNow chose Tracient's Padl-R HF reader for the following reasons:

1. Light weight, ergonomic design. At only 135 grams the reader can be used all day without fatigue or overuse injury.

2. Ease of use. The Padl-R is operated by a single read button; sending the data directly to the client's PC via Bluetooth. This means it can be used by low skilled shop employees with minimal training.

3. Wireless connectivity. The Bluetooth connection means the reader can be connected to the client's PC/ laptop at all times whilst performing the stock take.

4. Rapid integration. Tracient's rich software suite enables SeeNow to integrate the readers with SeeNow's inventory management software with minimal programming.

Looking Forward

SeeNow sees huge opportunities for RFID in the apparel sector and are currently introducing their Smart Shop system to thirteen retail stores in Singapore. They are also developing a logistics eco-system including their Smart Shop, Smart Mall and Smart SCM applications in order to link suppliers with retailers and customers.
