Polypropylene Highlights from 01-15, May 2013
In the beginning of the first half, PP prices increased in Asian market in line with surge in feedstock prices and firm energy in market. Selling offers for Polypropylene went down in the European market, due to poor macroeconomic fundamentals coupled with a steep fall in domestic feedstock prices. In the beginning of second half, Polypropylene prices increased in Asian markets due to surge in raw material prices and firm upstream energy value. Polypropylene demand was further supported as Chinese buyers returned to market and boost the speculation.
