We are seeking high-quality Abaca Fibre with the following specifications: the fibers must be processed into very fine individual strands, ideally as thin as human hair—preferably under 0.1 mm in diameter after combing or separation. Fibers must be thoroughly hand- or machine-combed to ensure smoothness, flexibility, and the removal of coarse or stiff bundles. They should be fully decorticated and cleaned, with all pith, sap, dust, and non-fibrous material removed. We require uniform fiber lengths of 18–24 inches (45–60 cm) or longer, if available. The fibers must be uncoated, untreated (no chemical coatings, bleaching, or synthetic softeners), and ready for direct dye application.
