Role of Dealers (in the Perspective of Indian Chemical Market) was presented by Mr. Jiten Desai, Senior Manager (Marketing), GNFC Ltd. (Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Company Ltd.) The author shares the role of dealers in the perspective of Indian Chemical Market; according to him they are not just dealers but they are the ambassadors of the Company in the market. They are also considered as the Companys extended arms which reach to the market. They help in creating the Companys brand image. He firmly added they are the Market Makers.

About the Author

Mr. Jiten Desai, a Chemical Engineer is working as Senior Manager, Marketing at Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Company Limited, (GNFC) Bharuch, Gujarat. He played a pivotal role in launching new products, market development and establishing dealers network. Apart from Indian and International marketing of chemical and petrochemical Products, he has worked for Corporate Planning Group, Business Development and Project Management at GNFC.

Mr. Desai is closely associated with the Polyurethane (PU) Industry of India since the conceptual stage of Indias first and only Toluene Di Isocyanate (TDI) plant of GNFC. He had presented papers on Indian PU Market at various Indian and International conferences.
