Periods of transition to modern capitalist economies, are bringing a new concept of the psychological contract, which modern organizations, in order to maximize overall performance, increasingly seek to explicitly represent. It is imperative to explicitly identify relational, balanced, transactional and transitional psychological contracts in organizations in Serbia, in both public and private sectors. Yet, at the level of recruitment and, later, training,local organizations need to clearly state and explain the essential principles of implicit expectations, possible changes that may occur in the future,because like that all the possibilities initially become an integral part ofthe psychological contracts of employees and minimize the adverse trends. The paper concludes that a clear policy of training, performance management, employee development, showing a transparent business policies, and incorporating these concepts as an integral part of organizational values, is the main strategic objective of human resources in national and international organizations.


1. INTRODUCTION


Society in the modern European states today, passing through more or less painful period of transition, like Serbia, was not willing to change business conditions, at least in the circumstances of employment engagements. "Life" in organizations, and with it the overall characteristics of jobs and business inthe "old times" were not nearly as "challenging" as they are today.
